Our Legacy

In 1960, with only a truck and $500 in his pocket, Ralph Conti founded Conti Plumbing & Heating Company in Lowellville, Ohio. Ralph invested his $500 savings into the powerhouse that The Conti Corporation is today in the mechanical construction industry.

With his business rapidly growing, in 1962 Conti incorporated his company and renamed it The Conti Corporation.

In 1981, Ralph Conti recognized the need to pair his mechanical contracting company with an electrical contracting division, hence The Contis Corporations affiliate company, Enertech Electrical, Inc., was formed.

In 2003, in anticipation of a future retirement, Ralph Conti began the ardent process of teaching his sons-in-law the art of business. He began to focus more of his time on his grandchildren, his philanthropic endeavors, and his reputable involvement with his beloved community, Lowellville. Sadly, in 2004, he died suddenly, leaving behind a wife, four daughters, four sons-in-law, and 13 grandchildren.

Contis legacy lives on in the communitythrough his companies, through his family, through annual scholarships awarded in his memory, and through the school campus, which is aptly named in his honor.
